Well, I badly needed a manicure – so I treated myself to a mini-mani for €25 today. There is something so satisfying about having your cuticles tended to and cleaned up. I opted for the 2 week manicure in a nice summertime pink colour, so I do hope it lasts! See below for before and after shots.
Essie Peach Daiquiri: €9.99 at http://www.boots.com
This weekend I was heading to a naming ceremony in Dublin. I wore black skinny jeans, black ankle boots and a white and blue stripped jumper. So, to brighten up my nails I choose Peach Daiquiri by Essie. After trying 4 colours from the collection they have quickly become by favourite. They literally last me all week and each weekend I change it up for another colour.
This polish is advertised as a refreshing sweet yet fruity, powerful cocktail – and it is!! It was a perfect polish to brighten up my outfit for spring!
Let me know what colour to try next! 🙂
Essie Lilacism: €9.99 at http://www.boots.com
Here we go with another work week and a fresh nail colour to go with it. This weekend I picked up lilacism by Essie. It’s a soft satin smooth lilac polish which is perfect for springtime. Let me know what colours you love!
Ps… Looks great with a nice tan 😉
Sunday – a day of relaxation AND the day before the work weeks begins. This means a new nail colour is in order. Working in an office I like to keep things neutral with my nail colour. So, yesterday I picked up Fiji by Essie. This is a very opaque, creamy pastel pink polish. I had to apply two coats on top of the base coat to make sure the colour was even throughout. Apply the Essie “all in one base” to ensure it lasts!
Products Used: Essie – all in one base (€10.99 http://www.boots.ie)
Essie – Fiji (€9.99 http://www.boots.ie)
I’ll keep you updated on how well it holds up during the week 🙂
