Well HELLO GLAMGLOW!! I do love a good eye treatment. GlamGlow Brightmud eye treatment is a little pricey but worth the hype. I have tried the original GlamGlow but I really wanted to try this eye treatment as I have missed a few beauty sleeps lately and work long hours.
As with all the GlamGlow packaging… it’s big, it’s flashy but I like it.
You get 12 little packs with a left and right eye slot which contains the product. This is great because it tells you how much to use per eye. You tap on, wait 3 minutes and then wipe off. So simple and so good. However, given the cost I would suggest using just one slot of product for both eyes as there really is enough for both. This means you will get 22 uses out of the box instead of 12.
See my results from just 1 use below and let me know if you have tried it xxx
Essie Peach Daiquiri: €9.99 at http://www.boots.com
This weekend I was heading to a naming ceremony in Dublin. I wore black skinny jeans, black ankle boots and a white and blue stripped jumper. So, to brighten up my nails I choose Peach Daiquiri by Essie. After trying 4 colours from the collection they have quickly become by favourite. They literally last me all week and each weekend I change it up for another colour.
This polish is advertised as a refreshing sweet yet fruity, powerful cocktail – and it is!! It was a perfect polish to brighten up my outfit for spring!
Let me know what colour to try next! 🙂
While I was in Paris I picked up the Yves Saint Laurent Pure Chromatics #12 Palette – A gorgeous, easy to use smoky eye palette.
The first colour is a beautiful light silver (top right) which I like to use on the centre of my lid to brighten up a smokey look. It can be used on your inner corner if you prefer that look.
Next on the top left is matte grey. Perfect to enhance a smokey look without more and more glitter being piled on.This shade isn’t too intense so it’s perfect to blend on on the crease and add some definition to your look.
The bottom right is another shimmer charcoal shade which can be used on your outer corner to intensify the smokey eye. It could also be used to smoke out your lash line instead of a liner.
Finally the last colour is such a beautiful grey taupe which could be used on the lid or wherever you like as it’s just so gorgeous!
I love to wear this look on a night out as it complements any outfit and instantly glams up my look. There is something so sexy about a smokey grey eye. The shadows can be used dry or wet. By using the colours wet they come alive and become more dramatic and intense. Definitely perfect for a night out! I would do a more subtle smokey look using the shadows dry for a day look.
This is my first Yves Saint Laurent product and given the quality, it won’t be my last!
